Studying Commons Governance with the Institutional Grammar Tool

This webinar will provide an overview of the institutional grammar tool and showcase its utility in the study of commons governance. Toward these objectives, the webinar will provide a review of previous applications of the tool in the study of common pool resource governance, highlighting how the tool has been theoretically and methodologically leveraged in the context of these studies. The webinar will also feature a roundtable discussion among scholars that have been working with the institutional grammar tool, in which they will offer recommendations for future research that employs it. Roundtable participants include Christopher Weible, Christopher Frantz, Bartek Pielinski, Amineh Ghorbani, and Peng Dong.
