Promoting the Commons in South East Europe

The Agricultural Fair “Albania works the Land” takes place every year in one of the main squares at the heart of Albania´s capital. Farmers, agri-businesses, farmer associations from all over Albania present their local products to the urban audience of the capital city Tirana. Information and promotional activities are also foreseen during which researchers from the Agricultural University of Tirana interact and share ideas with participants on agricultural practices, technology and markets. This year, a special section will be devoted to discussions related to commons and sustainable management of natural resources. Fliers containing information on Worlds Commons Week and Commons in general will also be distributed.
